Open Hands is a second-hand clothing boutique and household goods store that has been around since the mid 1990s. The local United Methodist Churches of Ligonier Valley created this non-profit to help those in need in the community. It is completely operated by volunteers from local churches and learners from LVHS. In August of 2020, Food2Go4Kids became partners with Open Hands in hopes to publicize and share everything they do for the community. Open Hands accepts any new or gently used donations except suitcases, TVs, or medical equipment. All proceeds collected go towards providing layettes for every WIC eligible mother that gives birth in Westmoreland County; Open Hands has contributed over 10,000 layettes since opening the boutique more than 20 years ago. This organization also allows for any family who has experienced loss of goods due to a house fire or other tragedy to come shop at no cost for anything that needs replaced.

Hours of Operation: Monday: 5-7pm Tuesday-Thursday: 10-4pm Saturday: 10-12pm *CLOSED Friday and Sunday*
